All GWO training will continue
The government in Denmark has made several restrictions last week. However business certifications are not included and all GWO training at GWA in Denmark will continue, as planned.
Is it safe to participate in a GWO training?
March 2020, the GWO Organization changed the rules for running a GWO training. At GWA we are running the GWO according to the “GWO covid-19 guidance”, guidance where contact between the participants is not allowed. E.g. the rescue exercises in the Working at Height module is made with dolls.
Do you have attention on the covid-19 restrictions at GWA?
At GWA we have had highest possible focus on a safety training, and all recommendations from the government related to cleaning, distance required, hand rubbing alcohol and information for the participants have been provided. For access to the GWA training facilities, the ”Visitor declaration 20201117” is required.
GWO Refresher training up to 60 days after ordinary expiry, is it still valid?
March 2020, the GWO Organization offered all GWO BST Holders 60 days extra validation. This rule has been sharpened per 01.01.2021:
The temporary measure to allow attendance to refresher training up to 60 days after ordinary expiry of previous training will be extended until 30 June 2021, with two clarifications:
a) that using this measure requires proof of cancellation of a planned training within normal expiry (to be documented by course participants prior to training to the training provider)
b) that any refresher training taken using this exemption must be completed no later than 30.06.2021.
