This module includes the four GWO basics safety refresher courses, GWO Working at Heights refresher, GWO Manual Handling refresher, GWO First Aid refresher and GWO Fire Awareness refresher. The duration is 2 days.

GWO Working at Heights
The aim of this module is to teach participants to use basic PPE, and how to safely execute work at heights and comprehensive basic rescue operations from heights in environments similar to those of wind turbines in compliance with the BST Working at Heights Module.
In general, the course provides participants with basic knowledge and skills to enable them to work safely in the wind turbine industry. As such, the course meets the requirements for new employees and the handling of emergency situations in the wind turbine industry
GWO Manual Handling
The aim of this Module is to encourage positive Manual Handling behavior and train delegates ability to perform Manual Handling tasks in a safe manner in the wind turbine industry/environment. The training is designed to improve and refresh Delegates’ awareness through both theoretical knowledge and practical training. The main focus is on practicing correct techniques.
GWO First Aid
The aim of this BST Module is to administer safe and effective First Aid in the wind turbine industry/ WTG environment, in accordance with GWO First Aid training through theoretical and practical training. As such, the course meets the requirements for new employees and the handling of emergency situations in the wind turbine industry.
GWO Fire awareness
The aim of this course is to give the participants the basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to prevent fires, conduct initial and appropriate judgement when evaluating a fire, manage evacuation of personnel to ensure all are safely evacuated and accounted for in the event of an unmanageable fire and, if it is judged to be safe, to efficiently extinguish an initial fire by using basic hand held firefighting equipment.
Maximum 136 to 140 kg
The participant must be physically and medically fit to participate in GWO Training. At GWA the fall arrest systems can handle maximum 136 to 140 kg*. For the participants, this maximum weight includes clothes and safety equipment. The guideline for own bodyweight is maximum 125 kg. * At GWA, we have different fall arrest systems. Different systems, like the participants will meet in the Windturbine industry.
